1. Onboarding with an OTP

Fill in the seller details (VAT number, CR, national address), take an OTP from the Fatoora portal and paste it in. Fatoora Now makes the private key and certificate request, gets the compliance certificate and passes ZATCA's compliance checks for each kind of document, then gets the production certificate.

2. Every invoice signed and chained

Unique UUID and invoice counter per branch

Hash of the previous invoice, so the chain cannot be broken

Cryptographic stamp and QR code

XML kept with the invoice, PDF/A-3 with the XML inside

4. When something goes wrong

Invoices queue while offline and are resent by themselves

Rejected invoices shown with ZATCA's reason

Sent invoices locked; corrections by credit or debit note

Sandbox and simulation for testing before live

ZATCA announces each wave by revenue and notifies businesses directly. Fatoora Now can be connected as soon as you are ready, before your deadline.

Do I need a separate device for each branch?

Each branch is onboarded as its own unit with its own certificate and counter; you do not need extra hardware.

What does ZATCA check during onboarding?

Sample invoices, credit notes and debit notes for the kinds you issue (B2C, B2B or both). Fatoora Now sends them and shows each result.
