ZATCA E-Invoicing Built Into Your POS, Not Bolted On

In Saudi Arabia every invoice has to reach ZATCA in the right format, signed, with the right QR code and VAT breakdown. Fatoora Now does it as part of the sale: you sell at the counter or make a tax invoice, and the document goes to ZATCA by itself.

Every document ZATCA asks for

  • Simplified tax invoices (B2C), reported to ZATCA
  • Tax invoices (B2B), cleared by ZATCA before they reach the buyer
  • Credit notes for returns and debit notes
  • QR code with the seller, VAT number, totals and signature
  • Signed XML (UBL 2.1) kept with every invoice

Sent at the sale, or when you choose

Each branch chooses how invoices go out: automatically at the sale, once a day, or when you press Send. If the internet or ZATCA is down, invoices wait in a queue and are sent again by themselves, in the right order, within ZATCA's 24-hour reporting window.

Bilingual invoices

Invoices print in Arabic and English on A4 or 80mm thermal paper, with the product's Arabic name, the buyer's VAT and CR numbers on tax invoices, and a PDF that carries the signed XML inside it.

VAT made simple

  • VAT 15% standard rate, zero rated, exempt and out of scope with their ZATCA reasons
  • Buyer VAT, CR, National ID and Iqama checked before sending
  • VAT return figures and a detail report per invoice
  • Shipping, discounts and advance payments with the right VAT
Why Fatoora Now

Most e-invoicing tools are a separate box that your POS talks to. In Fatoora Now the ZATCA document comes from the same sale that updates stock, accounts and the customer ledger, so the invoice ZATCA has and the one in your books are always the same.

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect to ZATCA?

Enter your seller details per branch, get a one-time password (OTP) from the Fatoora portal and paste it in. Fatoora Now creates the keys, runs ZATCA's compliance checks and connects the branch.

Can I test before going live?

Yes. Connect to ZATCA's sandbox or simulation first, send test invoices, then switch the branch to live.

What if the internet is down at the counter?

The sale is saved and printed as usual. The invoice waits in the queue and is sent to ZATCA as soon as the connection is back.

Can I correct an invoice already sent to ZATCA?

As ZATCA requires, a sent invoice is not edited. You make a credit note (return) or a debit note against it.

Do I have several branches?

Each branch is connected to ZATCA on its own, with its own invoice counter and sending mode.
